Our organization focuses on providing excellent patient service. The mission statement here at PrimeCare is Excellence. Every person. Every time. Very simple but all encompassing. All of the offices that make up the PrimeCare organization strive to fulfill this mission every day.

This organization is a group owned group which strives to provide excellent patient services to our local community. PrimeCare does this by employeeing top quality physicians who are interested in keeping up with the latest technologies in order to best meet the patient need.
PrimeCare Physician Associates has once again received the highest possible rating – three blue ribbons -- for quality from the Maine Health Management Coalition (MHMC)’s annual Pathways to Excellence report rating Maine’s best primary care sites.
The blue ribbons represent PrimeCare’s excellence in meeting the highest standards of care as measured by the MHMC, a non-profit coalition of employers representing more than 150,000 employees statewide.
The rating provides independent validation that all of PrimeCare’s practices meet or exceed the national, best-care standards for specific medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions and asthma.
History:
This organization began about 10 years ago when a few of the local physicians decided to provide best patient care by joining together. This gave the patient a better continuum of services within the same organization. Since this time the organization has grown to about 44 physicians with multi-specialities which provide a wide variety of patient services.
