AmeriCorps is an opportunity to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. It’s a chance to apply your skills and ideals toward helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.

In Grand Forks we work with youth by tutoring and mentor disadvantaged youth and providing literacy programs in the schools.

There are 14 positions available in Grand Forks. The commitment is between 300 and 450 hours between the months of October and May. There is a living allowance available and after successful completion there is an education award.

There are mandatory trainings for the AmeriCorps Members. The trainings count toward the required hours. We do require a background check for the member, paid for by us.
