Hospice Volunteers are needed to provide support and care to terminally ill patients in their homes or skilled nursing facilities. Volunteers are needed to stay with the patient to provide respite, deliver medications, run errands, help with light housekeeping and provide transportation. Hours are flexible to meet the volunteer's schedule. Volunteer meetings are provided monthly to provide support and educational opportunities.

In order to work with patients volunteers must complete a training course. The training course is offered annually in September.. dates and times to be announced. The traning class is free of charge.
