The Prescription Assistance Program assists individuals without prescription drug coverage to obtain needed medications free of charge or at reduced cost, often from pharmaceutical companies.
Description:
Many pharmaceutical companies provide free or reduced cost medications to eligible clients. Assistance programs vary, but the application process is often difficult for consumers and time consuming for medical professionals. The Prescription Assistance Program is carried out primarily by volunteers. Our role is to collect and assemble required information, facilitate communication with medical professionals, and to ensure that required application materials are submitted to assistance programs.
