Acappella Xpress, a dynamic women's barbershop show chorus, is dedicated to musical excellence through education, competition and performance to enrich the lives of its members and the community.

Acappella Xpress is a women's organization with a passion for singing and performing. Along with performing, in and around our community, we also have a number of occasions during the year in which we work on fundraisers and could certainly use some hard working volunteers to help us out.

If you would be interested in meeting us and finding out more we rehearse every Thursday evening, 7:00 pm, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1000 S. 14th Street, Moorhead, MN.

History:
Acappella Xpress has been a part of the Fargo/Moorhead community for 50 years and we look forward to 50 more.

Acappella Xpress is an award-winning women's chorus that has been providing uniquely entertaining performances throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area since 1955. Originally known as the F-M Sweet Adelines, in 1998 the chorus changed its name to reflect the diverse musical styles it performs. Even though the chorus name has changed, it is still affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, a women's barbershop musical organization made up of more than 33,000 members from around the world. Barbershop harmony, country-western, jazz, and gospel music are the only original American musical forms. Acappella Xpress performs all these and more!

As a member of Can-Am Region 6 of Sweet Adelines International, Acappella Xpress has represented the region at international competitions in places such as London, Seattle, Philadelphia, San Antonio, St. Louis, Minneapolis and Portland. In May 2003 we competed with eighteen other choruses in Fargo. We emerged as the second place small chorus and fourth place chorus overall.
