The Rape & Abuse Crisis Center offers hope, education and support to those affected by personal abuse. RACC offers crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling and education to all persons affected by sexual and domestic violence and to provide prevention programs to create a society free of personal abuse.

Description:
We utilize volunteers as on-call advocates during non-business hours to provide assistance to on-call staff members in the area of crisis calls. Volunteers are also needed for non-advocate projects such as; public speaking, special events and clerical work.

History:
Rape and Abuse Crisis Center started in 1977 as one of the first programs in the midwest to serve battered women and sexual assault victims. We also house the a publication division, Red Flag Green Flag Resources which was started in 1980 to provide prevention education to children.
