Season of Hope is committed to providing respectful assistance in bringing together those who make available gifts to those in need during the holiday season with children (ages 0-18) and special needs adults who would otherwise not receive gifts.

Description:
Season of Hope is a program of FirstLink and Salvation Army, both non-profit 501 (c)3 agencies. FirstLink's mission is to be the first point of contact linking people and resources, 24 hours a day. FirstLink serves Cass County, ND, Clay County, MN and surrounding communities. The Salvation Army's mission is to provide emergency assistance to the needy of the area.

History:
The Holiday Clearing Bureau and Salvation Army have worked over the years with various community agencies and other organizations who respond to needs during the holiday season. In 2006, that effort was combined to form Season of Hope. The collaboration will reduce duplication to better serve those in need. Today, many individuals, clubs, faith communities, businesses and human service agencies work together to provide holiday assistance each year. For more details see www.myfirstlink.org
