Our purpose is to build simple, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with those in need. The mission statement is to witness and implement the Gospel of Jesus Christ in North Dakota, Minnesota, and throughout the United States by working with economically disadvantaged people to help them create a human habitat in which to live and work.

Lake Agassiz was formed in 1991.
