Description:
The Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center (DVRCC) is a non-profit organization which provides confidential support services and safe shelter to victims of physical, sexual and emotional abuse in the counties of Adams, Billings, Bowman, Dunn, Golden Valley, Hettinger, Slope and Stark.
History:
DVRCC has been in existence since 1979 providing over 26 years of services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Throughout these years, DVRCC has provided an increasing number of services including 24-hour crisis line, safe shelter, crisis counseling, safe visitation and safe visitation exchange, Victim/Witness Assistance, outreach services, personal and legal advocacy especially obtaining Protection Orders, adult's and children's support groups, information and referral, public education and community task force.
