Description:
The Alzheimer's Association offers a multi-ligual 24-Hour Helpline to answer questions about memory loss illnesses and make referrals to community resources. We offer family and professional caregiver education and provide speakers to groups. The Alzheimer's Association offers support groups for families and individuals needing encouragement and assistance. Our advocacy program works to make changes that will positively affect services and research efforts for persons with memory loss and their caregivers. The Safe Return program aids in the safety and return of persons with memory loss illnesses who wander and become lost. The Care Consultation program assists caregivers in planning and finding resources.
