Our Vision: To be the premiere young adult organization for men and women age 18-40.

Description:
Fargo Jaycees have been building leaders through servicing the communities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo for more than 70 years. We are comprised of members age 18-40 from those communities and surrounding areas, however, volunteers of any age are encouraged to participate in our projects and programs.
Our monthly meetings, held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7:00pm, at the Fargo Doublewood Inn, are open to the public. (Please see www.fargojaycees.org for changes to any meeting dates during holiday months.)
The Fargo Jaycees implement, and participate in, large events which need volunteers from our community to help in order to make the project a success. These large events include Sandbox Sales, Summer Charity Fund-raisers, Relay for Life, Feed the Homeless, Christmas Shopping Tour, Casino Nights.
As a local Jaycee, you are also a member of the U.S. Jaycees, a national organization of men & women of all professions and backgrounds consolidating their skills and talents to achieve a goal of leadership development and growth.
The areas of opportunity in the Fargo Jaycees include Community Service Involvement, Business Education, Management Development, Individual Development, and International Communication.

History:
The Fargo Jaycees was established in 1933 by young businessmen and professionals. Ever since that year, the Fargo Jaycees have been servicing the F-M area through such community service programs and projects. We average 20 community projects a year which have included Christmas Shopping Tour - children from Season of Hope are taken shopping, Jaycees Against Youth Smoking programs, Parades, Sandbox Sales, Rebuilding Together, PBS Telethon, Elderly BINGO, Relay for life, clothes drives, pool and park erection/beautification, and traffic and gun safety programs.
