The Fargo Altrusa Club exists to enrich the lives of women and children, promote literacy and encourage personal development and friendships.

Description:
Altrusa Club of Fargo provides services to various groups and projects in the community. Some of the previous projects include, YWCA Baby Shower, Newspapers in Education, Local Scholarships, and Nokomis Childcare Center.

History:
Altrusa of Fargo was organized in March 1960 and chartered in October 1960.
