To provide emergency assistance to the needy of the area.The Salvation Army utilizes volunteers to better serve the needs of these people.

Description:
Assistance to the needy is provided in the form of monetary assistance, meals program, food baskets, travel aid, and emergency disaster assistance

History:
The Salvation Army started in 1865 and provides assistance in over 190 countries. Locally, The local Salvation Army has been in active since 1897. Over 5000 meals are served monthly, and 400 + families seek assistance with rent, utilities, and other basic needs.
