The mission of Hospice of the Red River Valley is to provide compassionate end-of-life care and support.The vision states we see every terminally ill person having the opportunity to receive our care and people being enriched by our services. We envision a highly motivated, empowered staff whose efforts make Hospice of the Red River Valley excellent.
Description:
Hospice of the Red River Valley (HRRV) provides intensive comfort care that alleviates pain and suffering, enhancing quality of life for terminally ill patients and their families. HRRV addresses the medical, emotional, spiritual and grief needs of the patients and families in our care. Volunteers enhance the quality of care by assisting patients/families in their homes, helping with various projects in the offices and with special events.
History:
Hospice of the Red River served its first patient in 1981. HRRV currently provides service to all or portions of 28 counties in North Dakota and Minnesota. We have offices in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and Fargo, Grand Forks, Lisbon, Mayville and Valley City in North Dakota.
