The mission of the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote, develop and serve business, industry and community. The Vision of the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce is to be a leader of business and community. This includes increasing membership, leading in community projects, growing the mission of MAFB, involving and supporting area youth and promoting the growth of community involvement at MSU.

The Minot Area Chamber of Commerce is a private business that works for its member investors. We have several programs that fit into the criteria to promote the community and could use more volunteers to meet the needs.

History:
The Minot Area Chamber of Commerce has been in business since 1912. Since that time it has grown to 700 members ranging from small business, home based businesses, individuals and corporations. The Chamber works closely with city, county and state leaders to accomplish together, what one business member cannot accomplish alone.
