To reduce breast and cervical morbidity and mortality in North Dakota. To promote early detection of breast and cervical cancer for the women of North Dakota through provision of screening services to eligible women.
Description:
Women's Way may provide a way to pay for most breast and cervical cancer screenings and is available to eligible North Dakota women. The program is made possible by funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
History:
North Dakota's Women's Way began offering services in 1997. It is administered through the North Dakota Department of Health and local public health offices.
