Community Action Partnership - Minot Region empowers individuals to overcome poverty and attain self-sufficiency

Community Action currently offers programs in the following categories to assist eligible individuals and families to overcome their poverty and attain self-sufficiency. Self-Sufficiency Housing Home Services Youth Programs Emergency Services Due to Federal or State regulations or the need of the clientele that Community Action serves, programs may change or new programs may be added.
History:
Community Action Agencies are non-profit organizations originally established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight America’s war on poverty. Community Action Partnership - Minot Region was incorporated in August 1975. Today, North Dakota has seven Community Action Agencies on the frontlines of the battle. These agencies provide essential services to every region and all 53 counties of North Dakota.
