Retired & Senior Volunteer Program mission is "MEETING NEEDS ENRICHING LIVES". RSVP is a federally and locally funded program that connects agencies with needs and volunteers with skills. We offer project specific and on-call project opportunities. Individuals can share their skills through mentoring opportunities.

Description:
RSVP volunteers must be 55 years of age or older. There is no membership fee. Free volunteer placement. We offer the opportunity for volunteers to match their experience and skills with areas of interest. Under the RSVP program volunteers are provided with supplemental accident and liability insurance. As well as the satisfaction of knowing they are making a difference in their neighborhoods and their communities.

History:
Senior Corps, as part of the Corporation for National and Community Service, is a network of programs that help adults 55 and older find volunteer opportunities to help strengthen their communities,. Senior Corps includes RSVP, the Foster Grandparent Program and the Senior Companion Program have been active for over 30 years.
