Description:
Catholic Charities is a social service agency with four divisions: 1.)Child Welfare (includes infant adoption, pregnancy counseling, search);

1. )Adults Adopting Special Kids (AASK)
2. )Guardianship Services for developmentally disabled adults
3. ) Counseling Services for families and individuals of all faiths.
   
   

History:
Catholic Charities originated in 1923 as the Child Welfare Bureau. It later became Catholic Family Services and recently changed its name to Catholic Charities North Dakota to connect with the national Catholic Charities USA.
