Mission: In faithfulness to the Gospel and the Mission of Jesus, Catholic Charities North Dakota fosters the common good through charitable and social services to the people of North Dakota. Vision: Rooted in Faith, sustained by Hope, and guided by Charity, we will pursue our mission by:

- Building healthy families and communities.

An organized expression of the social ministry of the Catholic Church in the State of North Dakota, we provide services for people regardless of religion, race, age, gender, or ability to pay.
Description:
Catholic Charities is a social service agency with four divisions: 1.)Child Welfare (includes infant adoption, pregnancy counseling, search);
- )Adults Adopting Special Kids (AASK)
- )Guardianship Services for developmentally disabled adults
- ) Counseling Services for families and individuals of all faiths.
Volunteers are primarily needed in answering phones and office type duties.
History:
Catholic Charities originated in 1923 as the Child Welfare Bureau. It later became Catholic Family Services and recently changed its name to Catholic Charities North Dakota to connect with the national Catholic Charities USA.
