Burdick Job Corps
Last updated on May 8, 2008

The Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center began operations in Minot, North Dakota, in the fall of 1994, with the mission of providing quality education and training to the young people of North Dakota. With GED instruction, a high school curriculum, ten vocational trades, and the opportunity to receive up to two years of college at Minot State University, Burdick strives to meet the training needs of young people of our state who have not completed their education or who have not been able to find a successful career. In July of 2000, the Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps began providing Outreach, Admissions, and Career Transition Services in the communities of Fargo, Grand Forks, and Bismarck, in addition to the services we have always provided at the Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot. An important aspect of these services is to understand how to meet the needs of businesses who hire our graduates. The Fargo office for the Burdick Job Corps program is looking for volunteer members for the Fargo Industry Council. The Industry Council will consist of the following elements:

Council members may also be persons with hiring responsibilities or supervisory duties for their respective employer.. Council members may also be Job Corps referral sources such as High School or College representatives.
